This is a 2 hour ethics training. The cost is $50 for non-members, $35 for members, and $25 for the first 10 students when registering before Monday, March 5, 2018 at 11:00 AM. Same-day luncheon registration cost is $50 if space is available.  Registration includes a buffet lunch and a coffee/tea/cookie break.

Professional Ethics for Engineers and Geologists!

Presentation Abstract

This talk will be 2 hours long and is designed to meet the requirements of the ethics-related professional development hours  (PDHs) required for licensed geoscientists, engineers, and soil scientists in Minnesota.  It is designed to maintain and improve skills and knowledge of professional ethics.

 

Speaker Biography

Karl Everett is a Professional Engineer (MN) and Geologist (WI) and the Environmental Department Manager for AMI Consulting Engineers, PA with over 30 years of engineering and environmental experience working for mining, industrial, and government clients. His areas of expertise include managing environmental, health & safety, and engineering projects, including Brownfield redevelopment and alternate energy plants. Karl has completed environmental plans and resource evaluations and his experience includes a broad range of capabilities from site assessments to compliance, permitting, and auditing. His is an approve MSHA Health & Safety instructor and has provided ethics training classes for engineers and geologists to assist them in dealing with everyday ethical decisions.
